There are different reasons why child don’t listen to their parents something’s they will do the exact opposite of what their mom or dad says and seen unable to follow direction.
Mostly child, like adults, prefer to do what they want to do. If a child is playing and you ask him/her to finish homework- he/she might just ignore what you said!
Children don’t listen to you because it isn’t pleasurable or convenient for to them to do so. They rather do what they love doing, or do just the opposite of what their parents want.

SPEAK IN A LOUD INSTRUCTIVE TONE

Parents often speak in a loud authoritative voice. Then it becomes a habit with same child to only respond when they are spoken to in a loud tone.

USE SOME WORDS CHILDRENS DON’T LIKE

Parents often start their sentences with words “why”, “if”, “you”, are the big negatives like “no”, “don’t “, and “can’t”, these words stop child from listening to you.

TALK WITHOUT FIRST GETTING THE ATTENTION OF YOUR CHILD.

Parents start talking when the child is busy doing something else. Instead, inform your child that you need to talk and need their attention.

ARE NOT A GOOD ROLE MODEL

Remember, your child will follow you, so, if you are good listener, they notice that and do the same. But if they notice that you don’t listen when someone talks or they talk, they too will follow you.
