WHAT DO CHILDREN WANT FROM THEIR PARENTS.
children want a lot from their parents,first they should understand their children what they like and what they don't like and parents should do what they like.
parents should be friendly with their children,that if anything happens to the children,they can tell easily their parents.children also want that their parents
understand them,if they make any mistake,then do not beat them,first ask why did they do it,what was the reason for it.children also want parents not to do their
evils but to praise them that they like it.children can never speak to their parents,but parents should try to understand.children expect us to trust them and
treat them with equality and respect and do not force them but give them the freedom to make choices and let them take decisions.children want time with their
parents.they want their parents to listen to them in a respectful way,without correcting them.
FOR PARENTS,(parents should do this)
you can take your child to a restaurant or a park.use this time to focus on the child.do not talk about problems. talk to the child about the child.tell your
child "this is our special time together".show your child that this time is very important to you.if it seems like there is nothing to talk about,ask your
child what were the best and worst things that happened that day/week,or what he dreamed about the previous night.let your child know that you are interested
in his thoughts and feeling.during this special time together,do not criticize in any way.do not correct your child.listen,and show interest in whatever
come up in conversation.talk about whatever your child want to talk about.if you cultivate your relationship with your child by listening to her and talking
with her,you help to keep the lines of communication open between you.your child will feel loved and special to you.if you give her your time and attention.
when the line of communication between parent and child are open,the child is more likely to come to you with a problem or concern.when you notice that
something is bothering your child,ask him if he wants to talk about it.he may say,"you won't understand".one answer might be "i'd like to understand.
when you're ready to talk about it,i'll be here to listen."if your child does not respond,do not pressure him to talk about it.just let him know that you
are available.
